Diana Jo Rossano’s definition of Swing Dancing Swing is a broad term for this style of couple dancing. Like saying, “Apple.” There are different types of apples: Granny Smith, Gala, Red Delicious, etc. There are many types of swing, too. Lindy hop named after Charles Lindbergh that “hopped” the Atlantic back in 1927 is an extremely fast music. East Coast Swing that looks more like the dance from “Happy Days” of the 50’s & 60’s music. West Coast Swing, that is danced to blues to pop music.

Diana Jo Rossano’s definition of Argentine Tango If you love Tango, sometimes called “Milongas.”you have found a group of people to share your desire to Tango the night away. The Argentine Tango is a variation of the tango. The ballroom dance studios do NOT play this variety of the Tango. If you want Argentine, this is the only place I know that dances it.
